1961年、東京生まれ。
劇作家・演出家。
日本大学芸術学部演劇学科在学中に「劇団ショーマ」を結成して活動を始める。
2001年に劇団活動を休止して以後は、他劇団やプロデュース公演に多く携わる。2018年に「ISAWO BOOKSTORE」を立ち上げ活動中。
代表作は「ある日、ぼくらは夢の中で出会う」「バンク・バン・レッスン」「極楽トンボの終わらない明日」「八月のシャハラザード」「父との夏」「モナリザの左目」など。「Ｉ-note演技と劇作の実践ノート」「映画が教えてくれた」など、演劇関係の著作も。（すべて論創社）
2019年、神宮前プロデュース公演「私に会いに来て」でサンモールスタジオ最優秀団体賞を受賞。
日本大学芸術学部演劇学科とワタナベエンターテイメントカレッジで劇作と演技の講師を務める。
